So, the very next day after posting the last Pyrenean Partners post – we got a bit of snow. This always gets Boo! and Zilla all riled up – and I was able to capture a play session. You can click on each photo to see a larger version. Enjoy!
I have found that there are very few modern pictures of Great Pyrenees and Pyrenean Shepherd living together. So, today I got the camera out and recorded some of their antics. The Great Pyrenees is Boo! (CH Thimble Farm See No Evil) and the Pyrenean Shepherd is Zilla (Thimble Farm Fantome). Zilla loves to chase things that you throw – and Boo! decided to give it a try – then he just decided to chase Zilla which is always an exciting event. Hello everyone, guest blogger Ross here (Valerie’s son). I just wanted to post some photos of our Pyrs out here in Colorado. Enjoy!
This is Boo! – CH Thimble Farm See No Evil – giving us a good look with his gentle eyes.
Here is a picture of Pepper and Zilla during Valerie’s visit to our house in early February. This is a cool picture of the different coat types and color this breed can express. Pepper is a smooth faced fawn, while Zilla is a rough faced, demi-long brindle merle.
Here are some cute Pyr themed onesies! Iron on fabric and some creativity developed these.

After 4 Majors under 5 different judges – Thimble Farm See No Evil is now a Champion! Boo! (as we call him at home) lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with Val’s son and daughter in law, Ross and Kelley Madden. Boo! can now enjoy the mountain life of dirt and swimming (and maybe an obedience title or two).
Here is Thimble Farm See No Evil (Boo!) and Thimble Farm Fantom (Zilla) enjoying each other’s company in Fort Collins, Colorado. They are the children of Ross and Kelley Madden.
Here is the gorgeous Pasha with his owner in Boston. These pups have grown into such beautiful dogs! They were born on the Fourth of July 2007.
This is the wonderful “Charlie” who guards chickens at his ranch in Massachusetts. He also helps with the neighbors cows if there is trouble in the field. Needless to say, he’s also a beloved pet. How amazing that these wonderful Great Pyrenees can be working dogs as well as devoted family members!
Here is the lovely matriarch, McFlurry, at the 2008 Great Pyrenees National Specialty held near Cleveland. At almost 7 years old, she made the cut in Best of Breed.
