Thimble Farm Kennel is just south of Buffalo and Niagara Falls, New York. Although circumstances have caused us to cut back on our activities, we still enjoy sharing information on other's dogs, their dog activities, and helpful information on holistic care for your pet. The dogs still living here on the farm are correct to their standards, have excellent temperaments, and are working animals. Please give us a call at 716-652-7974 or email to valdavis@roadrunner.com to chat about Pyrenean Shepherds or Great Pyrenees. Hopefully, we can guide you to a breeder who can provide a healthy puppy or adult dog.

This photo was taken by Joni Johnson when she visited Finland recently.  It is a good example of the breed and the how they appear in their natural habitat.

This is the wonderful “Charlie” who guards chickens at his ranch in Massachusetts.  He also helps with the neighbors cows if there is trouble in the field.  Needless to say, he’s also a beloved pet.  How amazing that these wonderful Great Pyrenees can be working dogs as well as devoted family members!
